How to properly care for your 100% Pure Copper Netillah Cup
The inside of our 100% Pure Copper Netillah cup is raw copper, giving you the opportunity to draw the full benefits of performing the mitzvah of netillah through the use of copper.
Copper oxidizes and will naturally tarnish with use. To keep your Netillah cup tarnish free, clean it at regular intervals. Copper is very simple to clean. Simply take a piece of lemon, dip it in salt or Kosher salt and rub the inside of the cup to remove any tarnish.

Midrash Raba states that the כיור (sink) in the Beit Hamikdash is compared to the Jewish people. It was made out of copper. Why copper? Copper tarnishes however it is easily cleaned.
